Motorola Q Global

PDA’s are having a stronger foothold in the mobile market, now more than ever. Motorola, one of the leading manufacturers of PDA’s, rode on the success of its multimedia-friendly Q 9m. It now has a newer PDA, the Q smart phone that comes in with Windows Mobile 6 and perfect for business travelers. It has international roaming via a quad-band GSM radio.

The Q Globals design looks so much like that of a Blackberry. It weighs around 4.6 ounces and measures at 4.6 inches high, 2.6 inches wide, and just under half an inch thick, it sports a landscape-format 320-by-240-pixel screen.

Furthermore, the Q included a 2-megapixel camera with lots of settings and tweaks. This includes image resolution, brightness, white balance, flash, and up to 8X digital zoom.

As it is targeted to travelers and businessmen on the go, Q features multimedia playback which does sound and look very good.

Overall, the Motorola Q Global might appeal to travelers seeking a Windows Mobile smart phone with a good keyboard, 3G data, and solid multimedia support.
